Hot chocolate, also known as hot chocolate, is a heated drink made from grated chocolate, melted chocolate or cocoa powder, heated milk or water, and often sugar. In the Netherlands, hot chocolate is one of the typical winter drinks. On ice rinks and natural ice, it is the most important non-alcoholic drink from the cake and zoomie stalls.
Prepared hot chocolate is sold in a wide variety of businesses, including cafeterias, fast food outlets, coffee houses, and cafes. Instant chocolate milk powder is sold in supermarkets, to which boiling water or warm milk can be added to prepare the drink at home.
Recipe: Hot chocolate
The winter months are coming again, temperatures are really starting to drop now, high time for hot chocolate. In the ready-to-eat version from the supermarket, a lot of sugar is often added, fortunately, our dietician Pauline has a delicious recipe with which you can easily make healthy hot chocolate yourself, without sugar.
250 ml (unsweetened vegetable) milk
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
½ teaspoon of ginger powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or the content of ¼ vanilla pod
Heat the (vegetable) milk and immediately add the cocoa powder, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla extract (or marrow of ¼ vanilla pod). Let it get hot, stir it well and try not to let it boil. Pour into a large mug and enjoy!

single cup hot chocolate recipe
You may know this version of your cocoa drink: with its thick, creamy consistency like a cream, Spanish hot chocolate (which is also sometimes found in Italy) is traditionally tasted with churros
15 to 20 cl of whole milk
1 tablespoon of water
1 tablespoon of sugar according to your taste
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder pure unsweetened
1 small teaspoon of cornstarch (cornstarch)
1 pinch vanilla powder
In a saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the cocoa powder with the water and milk mixture with a whisk.
Add your starch through a small colander to avoid lumps, and continue to stir.
When the mixture thickens, adjust the sugar dose if you like the sweet flavors and sprinkle with a little vanilla.
keurig hot chocolate
is a beverage brewing system for home and commercial use. It is produced by the American company Neat Dr. Pepperthrough its East Coast headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts. The main Keurig products are K-Cup pods, which serve single-serve coffee containers; other drink pods; and the proprietary machines that brew the drinks into these pods.
Neat beverage varieties include hot and cold coffee, tea, cocoa, dairy drinks, lemonades, cider and fruit drinks. Through its own brands and its partnership licensed brands, Keurig has over 400 different types and over 60 brands of coffee and other beverages. In addition to the K-Cup pods, Vue, K-decanter, and K-mug pods also include.
The original single-serve brewer and coffee pod production company, Keurig, Inc., was founded in Massachusetts in 1992. It launched its first brewers and K-Cup pods in 1998, targeting the office market. As the single-cup brewing system gained popularity, homebrewers were added in 2004. The House Drinksworks Bar by Keurig was developed by Keurig Dr. Pepper and AB InBev. The machine creates cocktails, beer, and cider through 24 different pods. The device is available in Missouri and is expected to launch to the general public in late 2018.
